Biography
Deborah Chambers Chima is an expert on helping leaders craft the leadership solutions that deliver the desired impact. Today’s leaders must demonstrate the ability to lead in a compelling and engaging manner. As President and CEO of Chambers Consulting Group, Ltd. (CCG), Deborah partners with organizational leaders to create the environment where desired business results are achieved through improved collaboration.
Before establishing her firm, Ms. Chima spent 24 years in the retail industry, with the last 21 years at McDonald’s Corporation where she held various corporate management positions with P&L accountability in international and domestic markets. During her award-winning tenure, she established a track record of leading teams to high performance results.
Deborah is a skilled facilitator and workshop leader who helps leaders and teams improve their effectiveness. She leaves her audience inspired to create and execute the leadership solutions that lead to career success. Her leadership expertise is derived from her personal experience of overcoming challenging obstacles while leading others. She shares her “leadership solutions” processes with new and emerging organizational leaders to enhance their quest to improve business results. Her ability to help senior leaders create a more influential leadership approach is highly sought after during her consulting and coaching engagements.
Ms. Chima serves as a Business Series guest lecturer at Chicago State University. She is a Board Director for the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO-Chicago). She also serves as the Diversity Chairperson for the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Deborah earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana.
Ms. Chima has coauthored a book entitled, “Choose to Lead: Advice, Tools, and Strategies for Women, From Women”.
